Unspoken Goodbye from a Fractured Sky

I touched the sky, and it remembered me. I breathed in its exhale so it would always be a part of my broken-down body. I crave the feel of raindrops on my skin, released from above, curating pools that pull me in deeper, making me forget the tears of the atmosphere I once cared for so desperately.
I fell deep into unconsciousness until I woke up in a world where time had stopped. So, I took a moment to admire the beauty of nature, while the earth remained in a coma too frightening for me to revive.
I touched the sky, and now it has forgotten me. I kissed it one last time, whispering goodbye to all the memories we had made.
I left pieces of myself in a friend that could never be returned to me, becoming the silence I once feared. The wind carried my name away, as if I had never been here at all—and just like that, the universe folded itself around me, and I disappeared.

The last paragraph hit me especially... hauntingly beautiful!
