Summer Night, Lake Annone Como Lake District
Fireflies all around,
each one a living LED,
pulsing in waves
through the hush of the grove.
They light the trees
like a summer constellation,
a breathing Christmas tree
strung across warm branches
under starlit silence.
The air hums with rhythm,
vibrations rising
through chest and breath,
tuning the body to a harmony
of wild impulse and quiet wonder—
where magic pulses
from the inside out.
And something in me
slows—
breath, thought,
even the ache.
There’s a rhythm here,
not quite music,
more like remembering
a feeling
before it had a name.
I stand still.
They keep pulsing.
And for a moment,
I belong.
