Captaining the Flying Dutchman, I’m doomed to sail forever. Write others off easily. I’m isolated. Alienated. Pursuing stardom over stewardship.
I think maturity is found within self-acceptance. Retiring the eyepatch. Stepping down from the Flying Dutchman. Accepting my own mortality. I cannot evolve and obtain immortality through my means. I can’t create a Potion of Life. Nor create my own morality or stitch my own clothes. I certainly can’t captain the universe.
I solemnly believe peace and joy is found in God’s fate and plan for man. Then true love can be embodied and lived out.
