In his spaceship it’s a perfect world. It's safe & collected. He creates custom universes in his mind at his will & experiences them.
That pursuit is foolish. It originates from a lack of self-acceptance. The reduction of man to machine.
When man is struck with his own mortality, he realizes his imperfections cannot be overcome by his own efforts. But only by external help—divine intervention. Man's surrender of this pursuit yields peace, comfort, & love. It completes him.
