T.J. Newton: Log #4 -- Earning
Newton, with the aid of his spacewalks, learns he mustn't always need to perform, but can just be. Him being allows his individuality to surface. Who he is in his original image, rather than his own. He begins to embody self-love. Being Major Tom, he may touch the sky, be above all, and sail the seas forever, but he is without a bond with others. He learns things are earned, not all is given. Trust is earned as it is developed.
